Resolution updates

With only three months left in 2010, I wanted to do a quick self-check to see how I’ve been keeping up with my new year’s resolutions, as previously discussed here.

And here it goes:

1) This year I will stick to an exercise program: I’ve been exercising loosely here and there all year, but I didn’t commit to a program until recently. I like to blame this on the never-ending moving madness, balancing work, school work & other work, and maybe plain old laziness.  But I finally enrolled at the gym in September, and I’ve started cardio-boxing classes twice a week.

2) This year I will come up with a brilliant business idea: I know that one of these days I will wake up with one of these.. I just know it! Sigh.

3) This year I will eat better, sleep more, and save money: I’ve definitely been eating well, as seen here and here. I think I’ve been getting 7 or 8 hrs of sleep on average, but I could always use more sleep time. And finally, yes, I’ve been saving up…at least this year more than last year.

4) I will travel to at least one new place this year: Happily, I have already exceeded this resolution in 2010. I’ve visited a bunch of new places including: Cordoba in Argentina, Capetown, Pretoria, and Johannesburg in South Africa, and Culebra in Puerto Rico.  I have a few more trips on the radar for the rest of the year, but I’m still not sure if any of them will qualify as new places – we’ll have to wait and see!
