It feels to me like the year just started, yet somehow it’s already April. Even though it’s been a while, I still wanted to share some photos from our first trip of the year (or last trip of 2012) to Uruguay last December-January.

We spent two incredibly relaxing weeks with family and friends, in a beautiful place that was very difficult to come back from.

The second half of 2012 was extremely busy (in a good way), but still is why I’ve disappeared from the blogosphere for  several months.

However, back in September we were able to get away for some quiet family time in a beautiful place, and I wanted to share some photos from that special long weekend.

Tucked into the northwestern US coastline, just an hour or so north of San Francisco, the town of Bolinas is quite the hidden gem.

I’ve been meaning to share a few Neon Trees songs on here for a while…and so, without further ado, these are my favorite two.

Surely you’ve heard of Matt, the guy who was paid to travel dance around the world for years. Well, he recently came out with a new video, and for the first time Venezuela made the cut (above dancing the Meneito)!

I really like how this time around he’s dancing to the local rhythms and learning from each place he visits, instead of doing the same silly dance over and over…

To me Aruba, in a nutshell, is about white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, delicious pina coladas and breathtaking sunsets.

We recently spent Memorial Day weekend on the island, and while it was very tempting to lay out all day on the beach, we made a point to go site-seeing.  Below are some photos, if you’d like to see…

The highlight of our trip was dinner at The Flying Fishbone. It’s such a romantic restaurant and the first time we’ve ever had dinner with our feet in the water!
